Walk Me Up is an alarm clock that only stops ringing once you get out of bed and walk.
Walk Me Up Alarm is an iPhone and Android alarm clock with no dismiss button. To silence it, you walk a number of steps you chose the night before, from 10 to 50. Shaking the phone in bed doesn't count. Every morning you walk the alarm off adds to your wake-up streak.
Most alarm clocks can be turned off without opening your eyes. Walk Me Up can't. When it rings, the only way to stop it is to get up and walk the number of steps you picked, anywhere from 10 to 50. Twenty steps takes about 14 seconds, which is enough to get you out of bed and past the urge to go back to sleep.
The app counts steps with the phone's motion sensor, in your hand or your pocket, and the counting happens entirely on the device. Shaking the phone from under the covers is detected and adds 10 more steps. Once you take your first step, the alarm drops to a quieter volume you choose, so finishing the walk isn't painful.
Each morning you walk an alarm off adds a day to your streak, shown in the app and on home screen and lock screen widgets. For people who need it, Evil Mode takes snoozing away entirely. On iOS 26 and later, alarms use Apple's AlarmKit, so they ring like the built-in Clock app, even in silent mode.
